Booking or requesting an inspection through this website is a request only and does not create a binding inspection contract. Every inspection we perform is governed by a separate written pre-inspection agreement that the client must review and sign before the inspection. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed inspection agreement, the signed inspection agreement controls with respect to that inspection.

4. Nature and Scope of a Home Inspection

A home inspection is a non-invasive, primarily visual examination of the readily accessible systems and components of a home. Our inspections are performed by licensed, certified home inspectors in accordance with the licensing requirements and the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics administered by the North Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Board under the North Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Act.

An inspection reflects the condition of the property at the time of the inspection only. It is not technically exhaustive, does not include dismantling of equipment or destructive testing, and does not predict future conditions or the remaining useful life of any system or component.

5. No Warranty or Guarantee

A home inspection and inspection report are not a warranty, guarantee, or insurance policy, express or implied, regarding the condition of the property, its systems, or its components. An inspection is not a code-compliance inspection or a determination of the property's market value or insurability.

6. Scheduling, Payment, and Cancellation

Scheduling, fees, payment terms, and cancellation or rescheduling policies are described at the time of booking and in the applicable inspection agreement. Please contact us if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

7. Acceptable Use of the Website
